The Clinical Study of Sulperzon in the Treatment of Infectious Disease in Orthopaedic Suegery


Abstract
Systemic administration of Sulperazon with /without surgical intervention for 23 infectious cases was evaluated, in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, NMC from Aug. ¢¥88: to Apr. ¢¥89.
The results were as follows
1. Bacteriologic effect revealed eradication in 91% of the cases, and clinical effect revealed cure in 65% of the cases. In all, overall clinical efficacy revealed excellent in 65% -and good in 22% of the cases.
2. There was good toleration to Sulperazon medication in all cases and there was no noticeable clinical adverse effect or abnormal laboratory findings during and after treatment.
3. Sulperazon turned out to be an efficient and safe antibiotic for the treatment of infectious diseases in orthopaedic fields.
